I am neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
I am responsible for my own content on these pages in accordance with general law. For third-party information that users store or publish via Authorial (e.g. Community posts, author pages, newsletters), the liability rules of Articles 4 to 8 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) apply. Accordingly, I am not obliged to generally monitor this information or to actively seek facts or circumstances indicating illegal activity.
This does not affect obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time a specific infringement becomes known. As soon as I become aware of such infringements, I will remove the content concerned immediately. You can report illegal content at any time to legal@authorial.eu.
My website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content I have no control. I therefore cannot accept any liability for this third-party content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content.

The synonym suggestions in the writing editor are based on data from OpenThesaurus (© 2003–2025 Daniel Naber and contributors). The data is available under either the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence; Authorial uses it under the LGPL.
Authorial stores the data in its own database and updates it weekly. When you use the synonym function, no data is transmitted to OpenThesaurus: neither words nor texts nor user details.
