The everyday reality

Knowledge about self-publishing is everywhere, just not in one place.

The answers to your questions exist, just not where you're looking.

Scattered knowledge

Experience with KDP, editing or advertising is spread across groups, comment sections and old threads.

Events get missed

Readings, book fairs and special days show up in the feed, usually a day too late.

Questions disappear

A specific question slides down the feed before anyone with experience sees it.

What you get

Exchange that doesn't vanish in the feed.

Find knowledge

Articles organised by category, curated editorially rather than sorted by algorithm.

Discuss questions

A structured forum with categories and topics, where answers remain easy to find.

Events at a glance

Community events in one place, instead of spread across three channels.

Articles

Posts that someone has chosen.

The articles are organised by category and curated editorially. Not an endless feed, but a manageable collection you can search in a targeted way.

You can comment on every post, so follow-up questions end up right where the content is.

  • Articles by category
  • Comments right on the post
  • Editorial curation
Forum

Questions remain easy to find.

The forum is divided into categories and topics. A question about printing costs sits where others will look for it later, not in a chat history.

Posts can be written with a dedicated editor, including formatting. That keeps longer experience reports readable too.

  • Categories, topics and posts
  • Dedicated editor for forum posts
  • Posts remain easy to find permanently
Events

Events that matter to authors.

Readings, book fairs, special days and community events are collected in one place, with date and description.

That way you decide early enough what's worth it, instead of reading about it afterwards in a recap.

  • Community events with date and description
  • Curated editorially
  • Accessible directly in the suite
Working together

Knowledge becomes practical.

What you learn here, you put into practice in the other modules.

For self-published and independent authors who want to share experiences, ask questions about writing, publishing and marketing, or keep track of industry events, from a debut to an established series.

Yes. The Community is included free of charge in all Authorial plans, including the Free plan. All you need is an Authorial account.

No. The Community is part of the suite and can be accessed with your Authorial account directly in the browser: no extra login, no separate app.

The articles are organised by category, such as Writing & Style, Market & Figures, Marketing and Legal. You can comment on every post; follow-up questions stay right next to the content.

The content is selected editorially and maintained via Authorial's content management. There is no algorithmic feed: posts appear because someone chose them.

In categories, with topics below them and the individual posts within those. Forum posts have their own editor. Questions and answers remain easy to find permanently, even months later.

Community events with date and description, for example readings, book fairs and special days such as World Book Day. The events are curated editorially and can be accessed directly in the suite.

Through structure instead of a feed: content is organised by category, editorially curated and stays easy to look up. Nothing slides down out of sight after a day, and the Community is right where you're working on your book anyway.

What you learn in articles and the forum you can put into practice directly in the suite, for example in the Manuscript module or in Blogger Management. The Community complements the tools with knowledge and exchange.
