Do I need a paid Authorial subscription?

No. All you need is a free Authorial account.

How much commission do I receive?

You receive 35% of the regular net subscription price, i.e. the price before the new-customer discount, on all eligible payments made by your referrals during the first twelve months.

What do my referrals get out of it?

They get a 10% discount on their eligible Authorial subscription for the first twelve months.

Can I combine the affiliate programme with other discount promotions?

No. The affiliate programme cannot be combined with other discount promotions. If a referred person uses another promotion for a payment, neither the new-customer discount nor a commission applies to it. Payments in the first year made without another promotion remain eligible for commission.

When is my commission paid out?

Payouts are made quarterly by bank transfer and include all commissions approved in that period.

How long is my referral link valid?

Your personal referral address remains valid for as long as your partnership is active. A single referred visit can be attributed within 60 days, insofar as tracking is technically and legally possible.

Can I refer several customers?

Yes. There is no limit to the number of referrals.

Do I also receive commission on monthly payments?

Yes. With monthly payment, commission is earned on every eligible, successfully paid monthly invoice within the first year.

Do I have to be an Authorial customer already?

No. External partners can take part too.

Affiliate earnings may be taxable. Participants are responsible for meeting their own tax obligations.

Receive commission
As soon as your referrals take out a paid subscription, you receive 35% commission on the regular subscription price for eligible payments in the first year. Payouts are made quarterly by bank transfer.

Example calculation

We calculate your commission on the regular net subscription price, i.e. the price before the new-customer discount. The referred person still saves 10%. Assuming an annual price of €599 net, it looks like this.

Net price example excluding VAT. Commission is only earned on subscriptions that have actually been paid. For gross prices, VAT is deducted before the calculation. If your commission is subject to VAT, we pay the VAT on top.

The rules at a glance

There is exactly one model with the same terms for everyone. A free account is enough, even if you don't have an Authorial subscription yourself.

Read the terms of participation

Commission: 35% of the regular net subscription price before the new-customer discount, on all payments made in the first year, for both monthly and annual payment.
Discount: 10% for your referrals, for twelve months from the first paid period.
Combination: Cannot be combined with other discount promotions. If your referral uses another promotion, the discount and your commission do not apply to those payments.
Attribution: Via your link within 60 days, or via your code when signing up.
Approval: 30 days after the payment is received, so that refunds are taken into account.
Payout: Once a quarter by bank transfer, with no minimum amount.
Excluded: AI add-on packs, usage-based services, one-off services and self-referrals.
Disclosure: Referrals must be labelled as advertising for your audience.
