The everyday reality

A rank on its own says almost nothing.

Amazon rankings change every hour. What matters isn't the value but the direction, and you can only see that over time.

Snapshots instead of history

If you check manually every day, you end the month with a folder of screenshots, but no curve.

Several titles, no overview

The list grows with every new release. Which title is picking up right now, and which is dropping off?

Data gets lost

When you switch tools or tidy up a list, the previous history is usually gone.

What you get

Numbers become a trend.

Histories instead of snapshots

Every recorded rank goes into the history: as a sparkline in the overview and as a detailed chart for each book.

Organise several titles

Lists group books by series, genre or campaign, each with its own history.

How it works

Four steps to your first curve.

Create a list

By series, genre or campaign, the way you think.

Add a book

Enter the ASIN or ISBN and the master data is resolved.

Let it run

Ranks are updated and recorded automatically.

Read the history

Sparkline for a quick look, detailed chart for analysis.

Data

Your history stays, even after tidying up.

Master data and rank histories are stored permanently per book, not per list. If you take a title out of a list, its history is preserved.

If you add the same identifier again later, the previous history is available immediately, with no gaps and no rebuilding.

  • History per book instead of per list
  • History survives removal from a list
  • No waiting time when you add a title again
Lists

Organised your way.

Lists group titles the way you work: a series, a genre, an ongoing campaign. Each list has its own history.

Entire lists can be imported instead of entering titles one by one, which is handy when switching from a spreadsheet.

  • As many lists per account as you like
  • Separate history per list
  • Import entire lists
Analysis

First the overview, then the magnifying glass.

In the overview, a sparkline per title shows the direction over the last few weeks. One click opens the full history with every recorded data point.

The charts work with the data actually recorded, not with smoothed sample values.

  • Sparkline in the overview
  • Interactive history in detail
  • Author ranking also available

Working together

Rankings alone aren't enough.

The trend only becomes useful when you bring it together with price and advertising.
